Day Thirteen 01/13/16 Thirty Paintings in 30 Days Challenge

A friend that I work with loves birds. She saw my blog and asked me to paint a picture she had of a beautiful red Cardinal sitting on a branch in a winter snowy setting.  The picture was breathtaking. I took on the challenge.  I have decided during this 30 days of daily painting I would get out of my comfort zone and attempt new subject matter. Here is my attempt.
