My Favorite Podcasts-Part Two

When I am painting I like to listen to something.

Do you?

My Grandchildren love to paint, and I started them early. They prefer listening to music. When they are not with me, I have gotten into listening to podcasts, lately. Here are three more podcasts I enjoy.

The Art2Life Podcast

A weekly podcast hosted by Nicholas Wilton, an artist himself as well as the founder of Art2Life. “At it’s heart, Art2Life is a movement, a community, and a completely new approach to not just creating art, but creating your life.” He has created a place where creatives openly share what they know, and what has worked for them. A place where they can explore their own creative paths, learn and grow with support. He offers workshops, both in-person and online, an intensive 12-week artist program, weekly blog posts, and a Sunday Vlog.

In his podcast, he has the most interesting and inspiring talks with all kinds of creatives. They share stories, insights and their wisdom gained in their experiences. This podcast is for people new to art, as well as established artists, or those curious about art. He takes a ‘deep dive” into what brings creatives alive.

AND, he has the most amazing voice!!! You will love him.

There have been 54 episodes so far, and you can listen to them on iTunes, Spotify or YouTube.

The Laura Horn Art Podcast

Laura Horn, an artist from South Australia.

Laura Horn

Laura Horn is an abstract artist from Adelaide, South Australia who runs a creative business with the help of her husband, Richie, a photographer. She teaches online classes, offers and runs retreats, and hosts a podcast. She also paints!

She gets “lifted up” when she sees other artists step into their creativity and really come alive. And she helps artists do just that!

In her weekly podcasts, “she offers honest conversations about what it takes to make art and grow a creative business.” She guides creatives to find their style, teaches them how to navigate social media, helps them with organization and balancing the making of art with the business side. She offers practical tips, shares stories that are relatable, and offers guidance as needed.

She encourages creatives to take steps each day to reach their dreams.

You will enjoy listening to her lovely voice, and learning from her and Richie. You can find her podcast on iTunes, Google, Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify and Overcast.

The Inspiration Place Podcast

This podcast is hosted by Miriam Schulman, who calls herself the Chief Inspiration Officer of her team. She is a full-time artist, an art teacher as well as an art business coach. She helps artists develop and learn new skills, reconnect and tap into their creativity, and grow a thriving art business by offering online courses, business coaching programs and hosting a podcast.

Miriam helps artists get past their fears and doubts so they can truly enjoy painting their passion. She also shares her wisdom of how she built her successful business on her podcast. She has many podcast episodes and programs on developing the business mindset of an artist to sell and market their art, by teaching artists how to build their e-mail list, attract collectors and commissions, and grow their thriving art business. She believes anyone can make a living from their art.

She has offered 230 podcast episodes, so you need to get started listening to her inspiring talks and interviews. You can find her podcasts on Apple Podcasts.

Well these are three more of my favorite podcasts for you to check out. Of course, there are many more podcasts for artists, collectors, and those interested in all things creative out there.

If you have a favorite podcast, please share in the comments below.

(Much of the above information was gleaned from the artist’s website, as I found them to be very resourceful.)

Hope you enjoyed my blog post.
